Recently, I have been having issues determining who my real friends are. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way that you could use like a convenient and public digital database to I dunno, list your all your friends? Other people could too! And then you could compare lists, meet new people, organize outings! It would be awesom-….wait, what was that? Are you serious? But Facebook isn’t for your friends! Its for people you saw once. Or friends of friends of friends.
Well then, there goes that idea. Instead, I’m going to make a hierarchy of friends 1 to when ever I stop. 1 being the lowest.
- Facebook friends
- People you will hug when drunk
- Friends of friends of friends
- People you avoid the gaze of when alone
- Those guys you met once
- People you acknowledge
- Friends you used to have
- People you make small talk with
- Friends of friends
- People you conversate with
- People you listen to
- Roommates
- People you like
- People who will be in your life next month
- People who will be in your life next year
- People you will grow old and raise kids with
