It is a state of mind
Definition found in reason
Searching for the escape
Everyone has been looking for. The mystery
is why nomads wander
What are they hiding from?
What are we hiding from?
Out of sight, out of mind
Seem to have lost the purpose; wander
Place to place listening to reason
To explain the mystery
That keeps escaping.
Window won’t open, try the fire escape
Let’s leave this place, let’s run from
The overwhelming truth, mysteriously
Overshadowing the potential in our mind
Goes back to the reason
why we wander.
Hold my hand now as we wander
Through the snow escaping
The wind behind us whispering reason,
Telling us to get away from
That piece of mind.
Even to me, the cycle is a mystery.
Hey, what is the purpose, mister?
I can’t help but wonder
What is it my mind
Screams for me to do. Escape
Is the instinct I can’t get away from.
Find the truth in the reason.
It is actually quite reasonable
To have trouble with the mystery,
As no one can tell one dream from
Another, and we wander
In between in attempts to escape
The doubt taking root in our minds.
In the end the mystery is revealed, and escape is no longer an option.
Our minds are forced from dreams and there are limits to how
far we can wander. The reason is that reality is the enemy.
